The current PC55MR-5 generation uses a Komatsu engine rated at approx. 29.6 kW (39.7 hp) net, with Komatsu's closed-centre load-sensing (CLSS) hydraulic system, and lists operating weight in the range of approx. 5,150-5,270 kg depending on configuration.
