Before entering into any transaction, you are responsible for carrying out your own checks, including confirming seller identity and authority, inspecting the machine or equipment, verifying ownership and finance status, checking service history, hours, mileage, condition, serial numbers, CE/UKCA status, import/export requirements, compliance documents, price, taxes, delivery costs, warranties and payment terms, and obtaining independent professional advice where appropriate.

You use listings and seller information at your own risk.

9. Seller, Dealer, and Advertiser Responsibilities

If you advertise on Machmon, you are responsible for your listings and communications.

You must ensure advertised machines or services are genuine and available unless clearly stated otherwise; listing images accurately represent the item; prices are not misleading; "price on request" or similar wording is used honestly; defects, damage, limitations, exclusions or important conditions are disclosed where relevant; enquiries are handled professionally and lawfully; and all applicable trading, consumer, tax, export, import, safety, anti-fraud and advertising laws are followed.

You are solely responsible for any agreement made with a buyer, enquirer, transport provider, finance provider, or other third party.

10. Transport, Finance, Inspection, and Third-Party Services

Machmon may allow users to request quotes or information from third-party providers, including transport companies, inspection providers, finance providers, insurance providers, dealers, or other service providers.

Where we introduce or display third-party providers, we do not guarantee that any provider will respond or guarantee availability, pricing, suitability, timing, quality, insurance, or performance. The provider is responsible for the service they offer, and any contract is between you and the relevant provider unless expressly stated otherwise.

You should review the provider's own terms, policies, insurance, and credentials before proceeding.

11. Fees and Paid Services

Unless stated otherwise, fees are payable in advance; paid listing or advertising services do not guarantee enquiries, leads, sales, ranking, traffic, or business results; and refunds are not available once a paid service has started, except where required by law or where we have failed to provide the purchased service due to our error.

12. Advertising, Marketing, and Google Ads Services

Machmon may also provide advertising management, campaign optimisation, reporting, or software-supported advertising services for authorised accounts. Where Machmon uses the Google Ads API, such use is for authorised Google Ads campaign creation, management, optimisation, or reporting. Users who authorise Machmon to access or manage a Google Ads account confirm that they have the necessary authority to grant that access.

Users remain responsible for their own Google Ads accounts, advertising content, budgets, billing, landing pages, compliance with Google Ads policies, and compliance with applicable law. Machmon does not guarantee advertising performance, impressions, clicks, conversions, leads, revenue, ranking, or return on ad spend.

13. User Content and Licence

You retain ownership of content you submit to the website, including listing text, images, descriptions, logos, documents, and other materials.

By submitting content, you grant Machmon a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, host, store, reproduce, edit, format, translate, display, distribute, and promote that content for the purpose of operating, improving, marketing, and displaying the website and related services.

You confirm that you have all rights and permissions required to submit the content and to grant this licence. We may remove or edit content where we reasonably believe it breaches these Terms, creates legal risk, is poor quality, is duplicated, is misleading, or is otherwise unsuitable for the platform.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability will be limited to the amount paid by you to Machmon for the specific service giving rise to the claim, or £100 if no payment was made.
