The Caterpillar 320 is a 20 tonne class crawler excavator and one of Cat's highest-volume medium excavator models, sold across four main generations: 320C, 320D, 320E and the current Next Generation 320. The Next Generation 320 runs a Cat C4.4 engine rated at 128.5 kW (172 hp) net power, with an operating weight of around 22,600 kg in its standard reach-boom configuration.
