Komatsu's PC30 was a long-running 3-tonne class mini excavator, and its current European equivalent on komatsu.eu is the PC30MR-5, part of Komatsu's MR-5 mini excavator range built for confined jobsites, utility work, landscaping and similar applications. The PC30MR-5 carries a tight tail swing radius and swing booms that hug the machine body for close-quarters digging, an electronically controlled 1.64-litre engine rated at 18.2 kW (24.4 hp), and Komatsu states it uses up to five percent less fuel than its MR-3 predecessor with no loss of performance.
