The JCB JS200 is a 20 tonne class crawler excavator from JCB's JS tracked excavator range, offered in NLC, SC and LC undercarriage configurations. It runs a JCB DIESELMAX engine rated at 129kW (173hp) and shares its platform with the JS210 and JS220. The range uses hydraulic regeneration to recycle oil across the cylinders for faster cycle times, an Auto Idle system that cuts engine speed when hydraulics are idle, and Economy and Power modes to match output to the task. Structural strength comes from a fully welded X frame undercarriage, a closed box revolving frame and a reinforced boom and dipper in high tensile steel. The cab has a 70/30 split front screen, a 3.5 inch colour monitor and centralised service points, with engine oil and filter changes every 500 hours.
