The JCB JS210LC is the Long Carriage undercarriage variant of the JS210, JCB's 21 tonne class crawler excavator from the retired JS200/210/220 range, built around the JCB Dieselmax Tier II engine rated at 129kW (173hp). Where the Standard and Narrow Carriage forms top out at 800mm trackshoes, the LC undercarriage extends the track gauge to 2390mm and adds a 900mm trackshoe option, with 8 lower rollers and 49 track shoes per side against 7 and 46 on NC and SC. That wider footprint lifts operating weight to 21.1 to 21.7 tonnes depending on trackshoe width and improves ground bearing pressure and lift capacity over the narrower carriages. On a 3.0m dipper the LC reaches a maximum digging depth of 6.70m and a maximum digging reach of 9.85m.
