Will an attachment fit my machine?

Fit depends on the carrier's weight class, pin diameter and centres, and coupler type. Match all three before buying, since a close-but-wrong pin size will not seat safely.

What does a tiltrotator add over a fixed bucket?

It lets the bucket rotate and tilt independently of the boom, so you can grade slopes, cut level lines and place attachments at odd angles without repositioning the whole machine.

When does a dedicated coupler beat a universal one?

A dedicated coupler gives a tighter, purpose-built lock and less attachment play, which matters for tiltrotators and precision grading. A universal pin-grab coupler trades some rigidity for compatibility across more bucket types.

Do hammers and shears need anything extra from the carrier?

Yes, they need auxiliary hydraulic lines and a flow and pressure setting within the tool's rated range. Check the carrier is plumbed and configured for powered attachments before fitting one.
