The Komatsu PC300 is a 30 to 34 tonne class standard crawler excavator built for earthmoving, general excavation and rock breaking duties. The current global generation, PC300-8M0/PC300LC-8M0/PC300-8M2, runs a Komatsu SAA6D114E-3 engine rated 187 kW / 250 HP net, with operating weight from around 31.1 to 34.5 tonnes depending on undercarriage and boom configuration, and bucket capacity from 1.14 to 2.04 m3. Komatsu's European range lists the same weight class under the PC290LC/NLC designation; Komatsu Australia's own material confirms the PC290LC-11 carries PC300 class undercarriage and counterweight components. Standard equipment includes KOMTRAX remote monitoring and Komatsu's HydrauMind hydraulic system.
