The Komatsu PC240 is a 24 tonne class standard crawler excavator built for construction and general excavation work. In Europe the model is sold as the PC240LC-11 and PC240NLC-11, powered by a Komatsu EU Stage V engine rated at 141 kW (189 HP) with an operating weight range of 24.7 to 27.5 tonnes and a 1.89 cubic metre bucket capacity. The machine carries Komatsu's Safe SpaceCab with a tubular rollover-protective structure, a sound-isolated cab, auto idle shutdown and a Neutral Detection System, with 3D Machine Guidance, a KomVision camera system and KOMTRAX remote monitoring available as options. Earlier generations from the 6 through 10 series remain in circulation across the used market, so buyers should confirm dash number, undercarriage type and configuration on each listing.
